NJ Revolutionary Battles Virtual Challenge: Inspired by our New Jersey culture, follow the troops from Valley Forge to the Battle of Monmouth up to Fort Paulus Hook.

Battle of Monmouth: In the summer of 1778 General Washington marched his troops from Valley Forge up to the site of the Battle of Monmouth, where he famously lost his temper to his second in command, Charles Lee who had retreated at first. Washington pushed forward despite the high heat. Many men died due to the heat.

Battle of Paulus Hook: Fought in the summer of 1779, storming the fort at night and forcing the British to loose most of its control over New Jersey the troops took 158 prisoners in what is now downtown Jersey City.

You will have 45 days to complete the total miles from the event you choose. You can run or walk anywhere you want, inside or outside as long as you log the miles. You do not have to run or walk each day, you just have to finish the total distance in 45 days. You will be sent a reminder each day to log your distances as well as daily updates with your location and cumulative distanced logged. You will also see how you place among the other participants daily.

All Participants will receive a shirt and a medal that will be shipped starting the end of December. All made in the USA! There is a distance for everyone and even our ever popular Relay. Get a $10 off referral for every person you get to register with your unique code!
