Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 2nd Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk, taking place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, in the beautiful town of Mannington, Marion. Join us at 9 am for a scenic run or walk along the hiking trail, starting and finishing just outside the Senior Center. This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, so whether you decide to run, walk, or push a stroller, there's a place for you!
This year, the Turkey Trot is proudly part of the Marion County Race Series, offering a $5 discount on registration for series participants. In addition to awards for the top finishers, we will also recognize outstanding performances in various age groups. Plus, we're excited to give back to the community by donating $500 from your entry fees to the newly established North Peak Performance Scholarship fund, which will support a graduating senior from North Marion High School in Spring 2025. Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit at the Turkey Trot!

This year's North Peak Performance Turkey Trot 5k [https://northpeakperformance.com/] walk/run is being held at 9am on Saturday, November 23rd in Mannington. We will again be using the hiking trail which winds through Mannington with our start and finish point being located just outside the Senior Center. This is a family friendly event that will be a lot of fun for all ages and abilities.
We are very excited to be included in this year's Marion County Race Series [https://www.marioncountyraceseries.org] which is sponsored by the Marion County Running and Walking Club [https://runsignup.com/Club/WV/Fairmont/MarionCountyRunningWalkingClub]. If you join the race series, you get a $5 discount registration code for use towards your Turkey Trot entry fee! Everyone is invited to participate as you can either run, walk or push a stroller!
