Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the NRHSMS Virtual 5K, taking place from June 23 to July 6, 2025, in North Ridgeville, Lorain! This exciting event invites both walkers and runners to participate from the comfort of their own chosen paths—whether it be a scenic trail, a local track, or even a treadmill at home. The virtual race kicks off on July 4th, allowing participants to complete their 5K distance at their own pace and on their own schedule.
The mission behind this event is to support the NRHS Men's Soccer Program, which is dedicated to helping young athletes develop not only their soccer skills but also important life skills in a positive and nurturing environment. Funds raised will contribute to various team needs, including training, coaching, and community-building activities. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences by sending in photos of their run or walk to [email protected], as there will be a commemorative album showcasing everyone’s efforts. Join us for this fantastic opportunity to promote health, community, and youth development while having fun!

Organiser's Description
The mission of the NRHS Mens Soccer Program is to aid in the transition of todays youth as they become productive young men in society. By utilizing the beautiful game, we will provide a safe, positive environment that is conducive to learning and will encourage each player to develop the intangible skills necessary to create success in their future.
The Program will being hosting its first Virtual 5k this summer and will use funds earned towards training; facilities & coaching, equipment, rollers, apparel, team dinners, team snacks, team bondings, banquet, game themes, and books.
The Virtual 5K will kick off on July 4th and run male sign through July 21st. Walkers or Runners can participate from any place at anytime they prefer between those dates. You can walk or run on a trail, a track or a treadmill - wherever you want!
Please send any photos of your run &/or walk to [email protected]. We would like to make an album of all our participants.
Please allow at least 2 weeks after the 5K event ends for t-shirt distribution. Debi will be in touch with a date/time/pick up location.
