Let's start this year off right!

My name is Sam and I am a Nurse Practitioner in the Syracuse, NY area. In 2020, myself and many others joined a mileage challenge that had different goals to be achieved throughout the year, along with the challenge came a Facebook page where we would post about our activities and bond over our different experiences- through running, walking, cycling and life. The members in that group have formed bonds with many others. While that original challenge is not being put on anymore, many of us are looking to continue our journeys. We often do other challenges run by members- early bird challenges, icy resolve challenge to get us through the winter months, back to school challenges and plenty others. However, I loved the accountability of the original challenges, and I know I am not alone, so I decided to make a NEW year long challenge.

Included in registration will be a medal and shirt for your first event and medals for any others you decide to sign up for. Please ensure that you are registered by May 15 to guarantee your swag!

Results will be input into RunSignup.

There are several events:

-2024/1012 miles: each day you input miles will put you closer to the end-of-year goal! These can be running/walking or cycling miles

-2024/1012k: same concept as mileage, RunSignup will convert your miles to km!

-315 miles: another mileage challenge great for anyone! Less than 1 mile per day! Could be perfect for the kiddo in your life interested in getting some miles in, in any capacity!
