KID'S COSTUMES - BOY & GIRL
* 6:15 PM start for Kids' 1 Mile
* 7:00 PM start for 5k
* There will be music, food, and drinks following the race. All registered runners receive one barbecue sandwich after the race.
* Awards for all the normal divisions in the 5k.
* $35 entry fee for all adults
* $15 for children 12 and under in the Kids' 1 mile
* Only the first 200 people registered will be guaranteed a race shirt. All participants in the Kids' 1 mile will receive a cotton t-shirt.
* USATF certified course starting at Fort Maurepas, along front beach and up the bridge and back. MS20004MS.
* This is a night race and SAFETY GEAR IS MANDATORY. Please be sure to wear lights or reflective clothing during the race.

"Race walking requires the competitor to maintain contact with the ground at all times and requires the leading leg to be straightened as the foot makes contact with the ground.
