The 5K aims to support the Oliver Springs High School Basketball Team, helping to fund essential gear, shoes, and other needs for the season.
Participants can choose to run the 5K or enjoy a leisurely 1 or 2-mile walk, making it a perfect event for families and fitness enthusiasts alike. Organiser's Description
The Oliver Springs High School Basketball Team is having a 5K race to tag on to our towns famous October Sky Festival that comes from the October Sky movie that was filmed in our sweet little town, Oliver Springs, Tn. We are starting our first annual 5K as a yearly fundraiser to help our team purchase our team gear, shoes, and any other needs for the year. We would love to have everyone enjoy The October Sky Festival and 5K with us. Option available for 1 or 2 mile walk also.

CLOSEDWe will register at Oliver Springs Academy beginning at 7:15am. Parking will be at Oliver Springs Academy front parking lot. Medals will be given for 1st and 2nd place. Age groups to be determined closer to race. Knoxville track club will register, bib, and time race. T-shirts for all runners!!!
