The 1K will kick off at 7:30 AM, followed by the 5K at 8:00 AM, both starting on the west side of the Mt. Hope Event Center.

Proceeds from the event will help families in Nepal purchase strawberry plants, vital for improving their income in the face of challenging weather conditions. COME JOIN US FOR AN EARLY MORNING RUN IN LOVELY HOLMES COUNTY, OH! THE 2026 RUN 4 RELIEF WILL BENEFIT FAMILIES IN NEPAL BY HELPING THEM PURCHASE STRAWBERRY PLANTS TO IMPROVE THEIR INCOME.
In Nepals foothills, changing weather patterns pose great challenges for farmers. Many young adults have made the hard choice to leave home to find work.https://mcc.org/our-stories/pujas-plentiful-patch
Puja Magar, 21, of Kerabari Rural Municipality, joined a three-year project in 2022, receiving training and seed funding. "I first brought one strawberry plant and planted it in a pot and I was able to get good fruit. My family and I decided to do the whole field after that remarked Puja.
FOR THE YOUNGER CROWD AND THOSE OF YOU WHO ENJOY A SHORTER DISTANCE THE 1K FUN RUN IS FOR YOU! THIS EVENT WILL NOT BE TIMED, AND NO AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO FINISH FIRST, MIDDLE OR LAST. EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATES IN THIS EVENT WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR WATER BOTTLES. LET'S REUSE AND RECYCLE! GATORADE AND WATER WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE RUN.
THE 1K AND 5K RUN WILL BE HELD ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE MT. HOPE EVENT CENTER ON TWP. ROAD 362 ON SATURDAY, JULY 11TH. LOOK FOR THE TENT. REGISTRATION STARTS AN HOUR BEFORE THE RACE.
THE 1K WILL START AT 7:30 AM, FOLLOWED BY THE 5K KICKING OFF AT 8:00 AM. EVERY PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT AND THE TOP 6 OVERALL RUNNERS WILL RECEIVE AN AWARD. AGE AWARDS WILL ALSO BE GIVEN.
