Event summary
Sunday is all about the Half Distance Triathlon, where athletes will tackle a refreshing 1.2-mile swim in the picturesque Lake Conroe, followed by a scenic 56-mile bike ride through the beautiful Montgomery County, and wrapping up with a 13.1-mile run that takes you back to the fabulous Margaritaville Lake Resort. For those looking for a shorter challenge, the Sprint distance offers a 500-meter swim, an 11-mile bike, and a 5K run through the enchanting Margaritaville neighborhoods. Whether you're racing or cheering from the sidelines, this event promises a weekend filled with energy, excitement, and community spirit. Join us for an incredible experience you won't want to miss!
Organiser's Description
Saturday 5K and Kids Du athletes will enjoy a taste of the Sunday course, with a mix of roads and golf cart paths, with the same transition and finish line celebration.
Come for the race, stay for the weekend! Resort guests and Day Pass holders will be able to join in our brand new "5 O'Clock Somewhere" Fun Tri, the most amazing triathlon-themed pool party ever.
On Sunday, Half distance athletes will enjoy a 1.2 mile swim in Lake Conroe, 56 mile bike in scenic Montgomery County, and a 13.1 mile run all starting and ending at the beautiful Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe! The Sprint distance will include a 500 meter swim, 11 mile bike and a 5k run through the Margaritaville neighborhoods and golf course.

Celebrate with America's Best Race Announcer, Fitz Koehler, at this "pool party with a triathlon theme' - Swim around dangerous animals, barrel around Mario Kart style on vehicles of questionable quality, and slide your way on our 'run course' to a finish line celebration at Landshark Bar + Grille (drink ticket included). Prizes to be made up but the energy is CANNOT MISS. NOTE: The Landshark finish party is open to the public, but you must be a resort guest or purchase a day pass to participate.
