IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR ANNUAL OJAI XC INVITATIONAL, NORDHOFF HIGH SCHOOL IS ONCE AGAIN ADDING THE COMMUNITY 3 MILER TO THE RACE PROGRAM. THIS IS A TRUE CROSS COUNTRY COURSE, TRAVERSING ROADS AND DIRT TRAILS WITH SOME SLIGHTLY CHALLENGING HILLS AND BEAUTIFUL VIEWS OF LAKE CASITAS. IT HAS BEEN THE HOME OF THE OJAI INVITATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY COURSE FOR OVER 30 YEARS AS WELL AS BEING THE LOCATION OF THE VENTURA COUNTY CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS. THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE TO HAVE A FUN RUN OR TO PUT YOUR DISTANCE SPEED TO THE TEST.

Notes for Community 3 Miler: 1) There is a $10 vehicle entry fee paid at the entrance to the lake. Feel free to carpool with your friends and let the park host know you are there for the Ojai Invitational. 2) If you only plan on staying for the Community 3 Miler, we suggest you park in the overflow parking area before you get to the course. That's about a 1/4 mile walk to the course. If you prefer or need to park closer, than you will not be able to leave until the high school races are over around 11:15 am.
