THIS IS A FUN 1 MILE BIKE, RUN, WALK DOWN CAPITOL WAY FINISHING AT THE FESTIVAL IN SYLVESTER PARK WHERE PEOPLE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET LOCAL GROUPS, CLUBS AND TEAMS INVOLVED IN DIFFERENT SPORTING ACTIVITIES. THERE IS AN OPTION FOR A "COMPETITIVE MILE RACE" FOR RUNNERS WHO WANT TO RUN FAST AND RECEIVE A TIME.
THE GOAL OF THE EVENT IS TO HIGHLIGHT ALL OF THE WONDERFUL CLUBS, GROUPS, TEAMS THAT OLYMPIA HAS TO OFFER THAT ENCOURAGE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND FOSTER SOCIAL CONNECTION. A PORTION OF CAPITOL WAY WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC DURING THE EVENT.
THE EVENT IS FREE FOR ALL, BUT YOU MUST REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BIKE/RUN/WALK.
