Join us for the uplifting One in 5K & Fun Run event on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Salisbury Community Park in Salisbury, North Carolina! Kicking off at 9:00 a.m., this race invites runners, walkers, and strollers of all ages to participate in a meaningful cause while enjoying a beautiful spring day. Choose between a competitive 5K or a fun run for younger participants, with registration open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
This year’s event aims to raise awareness and support for the Family Crisis Council of Rowan, Inc., in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. With a commitment to providing essential resources for survivors, your participation not only promotes health and wellness but also helps uplift our community. Participants can look forward to awards for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K, along with age group awards and participation medals for all children aged 12 and under in the Fun Run. Ensure your T-shirt by pre-registering, and let’s make a difference together in Salisbury!

RACE START TIME: 9:00 a.m.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN: 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. - Register Early to get a T-Shirt and save $5, fee increases on race day ($25 pre-registered, $30 race day)!
RACE PROCEEDS will go to support Family Crisis Council of Rowan, Inc. April is Sexual Assault Awareness month. One in 5 women and One in 13 men experience sexual violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community and other historically marginalized communities experience sexual assault at at drastically higher rates. Run, walk, or stroll with us to provide essential resources for survivors in our community!
Since 1978, Family Crisis Council of Rowan has provided services such as emergency shelter, hospital accompaniment, court advocacy, case management and counseling to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, incest, and human trafficking in Rowan County.
