Join us for the vibrant One in 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Salisbury Community Park in Salisbury, North Carolina! This exciting event kicks off at 9:00 a.m., with race day registration and check-in available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Participants can choose between a 5K race and a fun run for younger athletes, ensuring there's something for everyone. Pre-registration is encouraged to secure your T-shirt and save on registration fees—just $25 before race day or $30 on the day of the event!
This year's event supports the Family Crisis Council of Rowan, Inc., making it a meaningful occasion as we raise awareness for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. With the alarming statistics of one in five women and one in thirteen men experiencing sexual violence, your participation helps provide essential resources to survivors in our community. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K, along with age group awards, and every child aged 12 and under will receive a participation medal in the fun run. Lace up your running shoes and join us for a fantastic day of fun, fitness, and community spirit!

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN: 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. - Register Early to get a T-Shirt and save $5, fee increases on race day ($25 pre-registered, $30 race day)!
RACE PROCEEDS will go to support Family Crisis Council of Rowan, Inc. April is Sexual Assault Awareness month. One in 5 women and One in 13 men experience sexual violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community and other historically marginalized communities experience sexual assault at at drastically higher rates. Run, walk, or stroll with us to provide essential resources for survivors in our community!
Since 1978, Family Crisis Council of Rowan has provided services such as emergency shelter, hospital accompaniment, court advocacy, case management and counseling to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, incest, and human trafficking in Rowan County.
