Join us in walking or running one mile a day in honor of those affected by domestic violencethe victims, the survivors, and the families who continue to heal.
Why We Walk
Every step taken honors survivors, raises awareness, and helps break the silence surrounding domestic violence. Together, we can create a community of hope, healing, and strength.
Race Distribution & Purpose
Distance: 1 mile per day (walk, run, or combine both)
Duration: 30 days (October Domestic Violence Awareness Month)
Participation: Solo, family, friends, or teams
Format: Virtual or in-person logging, with a closing community walk
Dedication by Weeks
Days 17: In memory of victims who lost their lives
Days 814: In support of survivors reclaiming their strength
Days 1521: For children impacted by domestic violence
Days 2228: For families and friends who stand by their loved ones
Days 2930 (and 31): For advocates, shelters, and communities working for change
