Celebrate the 42nd Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!
Rock and Run 5K is Thursday night, June 13, 2024 at the Hickories Park in Owego. 5K Race starts at 6:00 pm.
The FIRST person to sign up for the race receives a free Strawberry Festival tee shirt!
A Free Fun Run for kids! Stay tuned for details!
Day of the race: Coming into the Hickories Park, please remember to drive slowly!
There will be a lot of people parking and gathering around the band stand area. Kids may be running their Fun Run. There will be orange cones and volunteers to highlight the race, and help with safety.
Cool Strawberry Race medal for every 5K participant.
Music and festivities start at 5:00.
Following the 5K Race, join us for more free music and fun at the Hickories bandstand. Live music, vendors and food trucks until 9:00.
Then more Strawberry Festival events that will happen in the Village of Owego near the Courthouse:
Friday night, June 14 - starting at 5:00 pm, music, vendors, food and fireworks in the Village.
Saturday, June 15 - in the Village, the Strawberry Festival Parade starts at 10:00, vendors, food, entertainment all day!
