The race kicks off right across from the iconic Ponce City Market at the base of Historic Old Fourth Ward Park, taking participants on a scenic route through the charming streets of O4W, including a stretch along Auburn Avenue, home to the MLK Jr. Historic District.
Participants can look forward to an unforgettable experience, complete with fantastic race t-shirts that are sure to be a hit! Be sure to register by April 10 to guarantee your preferred size, as supplies are limited. Packet pick-up will be available on May 9 and on race day from 6:45 to 7:45 AM at Historic Old Fourth Ward. Organiser's Description
The O4W5K is a run/walk through the streets of the historic Old Fourth Ward benefitting Hope-Hill Elementary, the traditional K-5 public school serving the O4W neighborhood. The race starts across the street from Ponce City Market, at the base of Historic Old Fourth Ward park, and runs throughout the O4W, including Auburn Avenue where the MLK Jr. Historic District is located.
