The Patriots Run 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run takes place Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Red Tail Pavilion, Oak Point Park in Planohome of the Plano Flags of Honor.
Tentatively: The morning begins with a Presentation of Colors by Allen High School MCJROTC and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Congressman Keith Self, followed by a 7:30 AM warm-up, the 1-Mile Fun Run (8:00 AM), and the 5K Run (8:30 AM). Wheeled participants will have a 5 minute head start.
After the race, enjoy a community celebration featuring awards, sponsor booths, food, music, and vendor prize giveaways immediately following the ceremony.
Run, walk, ride or cheerevery step honors those who served and celebrates the freedom they defended.
Proceeds from the event help fund veteran assistance programs, student scholarships, and outreach efforts that uphold the VFWs mission of service to veterans, their families, and our nation.
