Every now and then, someone enters the world and leaves it brighter. Ann Marie McGhee was one of those rare souls. A passionate educator, loving friend, and tireless advocate for every child, Mrs. McGhee had a gift for making everyone feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
Her classroom was a place of acceptance, curiosity, and growth. She didnt just teachshe inspired. Her impact lives on in the lives of her students, colleagues, and the community she served so faithfully at Horse Creek Academy.

In addition, the ANN MARIE MCGHEE AWARD is presented each year to a fifth-grade student at Horse Creek Academy who exemplifies traits Ann Marie held dearkindness, dedication, helpfulness, curiosity, and school pride. Each award winner will also receive a $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP UPON GRADUATION.
