Join us for the Pedal to Empower Teens charity bike ride organized by Kingdom Center in Deridder, Beauregard on November 2nd, 2024. This exciting event features four different routes showcasing the beauty of "No Man's Land", including a 1-mile Walk-Ride-Play route through West Park, a 7-mile family ride, a 25-mile ride, and a 50-mile ride. All proceeds raised will benefit local teens through Kingdom Center programs and activities. Don't miss out on the community bicycle maintenance workshop on October 12th and be sure to register by October 15th for the t-shirt option. Early check-in and packet pick up will be on November 1st, with the main event kicking off on November 2nd at 7:30 am. Come out for a day of fun, fitness, and empowerment!
Organiser's Description
Our charity bike ride will start at Kingdom Center in DeRidder, LA and includes 4 different routes that highlight the beauty in the heart of "No Man's Land"!
Routes include a 1-mile Walk-Ride-Play route through West Park, a 7-mile family ride, a 25-mile ride and a 50-mile ride.
All the proceeds and funds raised at Pedal to Empower Teens benefit teens in our community through Kingdom Center programs and activities.
October 12, 1:00 pm -- Community bicycle maintenance and safety workshop at Kingdom Center
October 15 - last day to register with t-shirt option
November 1 - Early Check-in, packet pick up
November 2 - Event Time Line
7:30 - late registration begins
7:45 - check in
8:00 - announcements for riders
8:15 - ride begins with 50-mile riders followed by 25-mile, and 7-mile
9:00 - Walk-Ride-Play begins
11:00 - lunch and family fun
