Get ready for an exhilarating day of racing at the 27th Annual Pete Hawley People's 7, happening on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in the picturesque Barkhamsted, located in the stunning Northwest Hills of Connecticut. This exciting event features a challenging 7-mile course that takes runners through scenic landscapes, starting and finishing behind the Matheis Grove Pavilion on East River Road.
Participants will navigate the Blue trail before joining the Yellow trail at approximately 2.5 miles, continuing to the Orange trail around the 5.5-mile mark, and then returning to the Blue trail for the thrilling finish. Please note that there is no race-day registration, and a state park entry fee of $15 applies for out-of-state participants. This USATF Sanctioned event promises a fantastic atmosphere, with awards for the top three men and women, as well as the first male and female in each age group, presented at the Finish Line around 11:20 AM. Join us for a memorable day filled with camaraderie, competition, and the beauty of Barkhamsted!

The 27th Annual.THERE IS NO RACE-DAY REGISTRATION.Registration, start, & finish are located behind the Matheis Grove Pavilion on East River Rd, Barkhamsted, CT. Start up the Blue , join the Yellow at about 2.5, continue on Yellow to the Orange at about 5.5, back to Blue and finish. There is a State Park entry fee $15 for out of state. This is an USATF Sanctioned event.Timing and results by Greystone Electronics. There is limited post race celebration. Results will ONLY be posted on-line at www.greystoneracing.net [http://www.greystoneracing.net]
