Get ready for a fantastic day of fitness and community spirit at the 4th Annual Pilar McLemore Butterfly Run on Saturday, November 7, 2026! Taking place at the beautiful Longview Arboretum & Nature Center in Longview, Texas, this exciting event kicks off at 8:00 AM. Participants can join in the fun by running or walking a 5K, with proceeds benefiting the Texas Oncology Foundation to support families in East Texas facing cancer.
In addition to the main race, children 12 and under can participate in the free Little Bug Run, making it a perfect family-friendly event. While donning butterfly wings is optional, it adds a delightful touch to the day! All registrants will enjoy a post-race breakfast, receive a swag bag, and have access to the arboretum, so don’t miss out on this uplifting experience. Be sure to register by October 10th to secure your t-shirt and join us in making a difference with every step!

THIS SPECIAL 5K RUN/WALK BENEFITS THE TEXAS ONCOLOGY FOUNDATION, WITH PROCEEDS STAYING RIGHT HERE IN EAST TEXAS TO SUPPORT FAMILIES FACING CANCER. AFTER THE RACE, KIDS 12 AND UNDER CAN TAKE PART IN THE FREE LITTLE BUG RUN THROUGH THE ARBORETUM GARDENS. WHILE NOT MANDATORY, BUTTERFLY WINGS ARE ALWAYS ENCOURAGED!
