Join us for the inspiring Pink With Purpose One Mile Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the beautiful town of Iota, Acadia. This annual event is dedicated to honoring breast cancer patients, survivors, and those who have bravely fought the battle. Participants will enjoy a scenic one-mile course while raising vital funds to support breast cancer patients and their families in the Acadiana area. Plus, the event contributes to the Pink With Purpose Scholarship, awarded each May to a deserving local high school senior impacted by breast cancer.
This year, we are proud to honor Mrs. Joan Zaunbrecher, a courageous breast cancer survivor from Acadia Parish. The Pink With Purpose One Mile Fun Run/Walk is held annually to honor breast cancer patients, survivors & those who have gone before us. The proceeds from the event are used for supporting breast cancer patients & their families in the Acadiana area & fund the annual Pink With Purpose Scholarship presented every May to a local high school senior whose family has been affected by a breast cancer diagnosis. The 2025 PWP One Mile Run/Walk honoree is an Acadia Parish breast cancer survivor Mrs. Joan Zaunbrecher. **If you are registering online, you can specify which team you are on at packet pickup.**
