ORIGINS: THIS EVENT BEGAN IN 2022 AS PINOY RUNNERS BRGY. BAY AREA FUN RUN, A 5K/10K HELD AT FREMONT'S QUARRY LAKES. THIS EVENT WAS ORGANIZED TO BRING TOGETHER FILIPINO RUNNERS AND FRIENDS, PROMOTE HEALTH AND FITNESS AND SHARE FILIPINO PRIDE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.
THIS YEAR, WE CONTINUE THAT TRADITION - NOT ONLY BY RUNNING TOGETHER, BUT BY GIVING BACK. A PORTION OF PROCEEDS AND OPTIONAL DONATIONS WILL GO TO SUPPORT ST. PIO SHRINE OF DAVILA, PASUQUIN, ILOCOS NORTE AND [LOCAL ORGANIZATION]. HELPING MAKES A POSITIVE IMPACT BOTH IN THE PHILIPPINES AND LOCALLY.
