This exciting community event kicks off at the 112th Engineer Battalion armory and winds through the vibrant streets of Brook Park, culminating at the scenic Brook Park amphitheater. Participants can choose to compete in a thrilling 5K race or let the kids enjoy a fun-filled Kids Run around Safety Village, starting at 9:30 AM for the little ones and 10:00 AM for the 5K.
This family-friendly event is completely free of charge and promises a day packed with fun activities, including inflatables and games for children. All youth runners will receive a commemorative coin, making it a special experience for them. After the race, stick around for the annual Picnic in the Park from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, featuring delicious food, games, and music. A heartfelt thanks to the 112th Engineer Battalion Officers Association, The American Legion Post 610, and MARCs for their support in making this event possible. Organiser's Description
The Ohio Army National Guard (OHARNG) and City of Brook Park invite you to the 4th Annual Pioneer Run. Starting at the 112th Engineer Battalion armory you will run through the streets of Brook Park and finish at the Brook Park amphitheater. This event is free of charge. The city of Brook Park and the OHARNG welcomes the community to participate in this fun filled event. There will be inflatables and games for kids. Our youth runners will also receive a commemorative coin. The event will be followed by the city of Brook Park hosting the annual Picnic in the Park from 11:00-3:00pm. Please join us for the run, food, games and music! Thank you to the 112th Engineer Battalion Officers Association, The American Legion Post 610 and MARCs for sponsoring this amazing event.
