After crossing the finish line, participants can unwind in the beautiful outdoor garden dining area of the World Famous Kopper Kettle Inn Restaurant, where delicious refreshments such as beer, wings, cookies, and fruit await. With cash awards for the top three overall finishers and trophies for those aged 19 and under, there are plenty of opportunities to celebrate your achievements! Don’t forget to stick around for the Derby Days parade at 11:00 AM, making it a perfect day of fun and community spirit. Join us in honoring the legacy of beloved track coach Paul Otis Goble while supporting the Morristown Girls & Boys Cross Country and Track Teams and the Paul O. Goble Memorial Scholarship!

Come join us for the nicest day in small town Indiana! Flat out and back course. The entire run/walk is on pavement and travels out to the Morristown Cemetery, does a small loop in the cemetery and comes back in to town. Course is closed to traffic during the event and provides 3 water stops. The World Famous Kopper Kettle Inn Restaurant sponsors the P.O.G. run and provides beer, wings, cookies and fruit in their beautiful outdoor garden dining area after the race! Kick back and relax! 11:00 is the Derby Days parade if you have time to stick around! Cash awards for 3 overall and 1st - 3rd age groups! Trophies for 19 & Under. Paul Otis Goble (P.O.G.) was a beloved long time track coach for Morristown High School. Proceeds from this event benefit the Morristown Girls & Boys Cross Country and Track Teams and the Paul O. Goble Memorial Scholarship.
