With distances including a Kids Half Mile at 5:45 PM, the Open Mile at 6:30 PM, and the Elite Mile at 7:00 PM, this event is set to be a memorable experience for all. The Power Mile Road Race is the 2024 RRCA Louisiana One Mile State Championship and is an evening of spectator-friendly road racing for all ages and abilities organized and directed by the Power Miler Track Club in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the premier road mile in the Gulf South.
The 2023 event raised over $12,000 for charity and brought more than 500 participants, volunteers, and spectators to West End Park to enjoy the race and festivities. Our goal is to double those numbers this year, while maintaining the high standards of quality and family-friendliness of the event that we have brought each year. We hope that you are on board to help us reach this year's goal!

CLOSEDThe mile is run in two heats, the open corral at 6:30pm and the elite corral at 7:00pm. Participants in the elite heat must be able to complete 1 mile in 7 minutes or less. Both heats are scored as one race. -
