Join us for the 12th Annual Miner Gold Rush and Fall Festival on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Prospect Ridge Academy in Broomfield! This exciting community event promises a day filled with fun, fitness, and festivities, all while supporting a great causeβ€”enhancing the quality of K-12 education at Prospect Ridge Academy.

Kick off the day with the 5K race at 9 a.m., featuring early bird registration rates starting from just $40, or join the 1-Mile Fun Run for $25. After the races, the Fall Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the PRA high school grass field, offering a variety of attractions including carnival games, a Ninja Nation obstacle course, and a brand-new gold panning experience! Enjoy delicious food from local food trucks, try your luck at the dunk tank, and let your creativity shine at the craft table and face painting station. Don’t miss out on this vibrant celebration of community spirit!

Prospect Ridge Academy is thrilled to present our 12th Annual Miner Gold Rush and Fall Festival! All proceeds will benefit Prospect Ridge Academy, a public charter school providing a rigorous, quality K-12 education with an intensified math and science focus. RACE REGISTRATION INFORMATION

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION - MAY 1 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 7:

* 5K - $40
* 1 Mile Fun Run - $25

REGULAR REGISTRATION - SEPTEMBER 8 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 27:

* 5K - $45
* 1 Mile Fun Run - $30

The 5K race will be held in the morning on Saturday, September 28. Same-day packet pickup will begin at 8 a.m. with the race beginning promptly at 9 a.m. Once the race is finished you can go home, change, and return for the Fall Festival and Fun Run!

FALL FESTIVAL AND 1-MILE FUN RUN

Join us for the Fall Festival from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the PRA high school grass field! Attractions include:

    PRA's 5K course takes runners from PRA's track, along the canal behind the school, through parts of the Anthem neighborhood, around the park southwest of the school, back along the canal, and finishes back at PRA's track. 8:00 a.m.: Same-day packet pickup 8:30 a.m.: Start corralling for 5K 9:00 a.m.: 5K race begins 12:30 p.m.: Medal Ceremony at the main stage at the Fall Festival Those who place in the top three of each division of the 5K will receive a medal! Medals breakdown: Top 3 Overall (Male/Female) Top 3 Age 0-9 (Male/Female) Top 3 Age 10-19 (Male/Female) Top 3 Age 20-29 (Male/Female) Top 3 Age 30+ (Male/Female) Note: Those who medal overall will not be counted in their age division.
