The Promise 5K is an annual event held in effort to raise funds and awareness for the work of Children of the Promise in Northern Haiti. This year, the 7th Annual Promise 5K will be held at Robbins Island Park IN WILLMAR, MINNESOTA!

The route follows beautiful walking trails through the park and around Willmar Lake. In addition to the great outdoors, enjoy a slice of pie at the Pie-K, stick around to hear more about what's happening in Haiti, and browse Haitian-made artwork. The 5K race is part of the GLACIAL LAKES CHAMPIONSHIP RUNNING SERIES OF WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA, and there will be official timing with results posted online at http://www.glcrsrun.com/ via Pickle Events.

OPENS 14 JULThe Kids Fun Run will be held prior to the Promise 5K at Robbins Island Regional Park. This Kids Fun Run is named in honor of a boy named Bensky. Bensky lived much of his life at COTP, and during that time, he found his purpose. Even though he couldnt walk, he lived a life of motion and impact. Bensky tragically passed away in 2021, and his life left a mark on many! -
