Get ready for an unforgettable evening at the Prowl the Peak Twilight 5K Run and 3K Walk on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in the picturesque Delafield, Waukesha. The 5K run starts at 9:00 PM, followed closely by the 3K walk at approximately 9:05 PM.
Not only will you enjoy a unique experience in a stunning natural setting, but your participation also supports the Peak Nordic Ski Club's youth cross-country ski program. Participants can check in from 7:30 PM to 8:45 PM at the Evergreen Shelter, and all attendees will receive a special tubular bandana or cooling arm sleeves as a token of appreciation. While there will be no aid stations on the course, the thrill of racing under the lights is sure to create lasting memories. Awards will be presented for the top male and female runners, as well as for the top three finishers in various age groups, making this event a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself while enjoying a night of community spirit. START: Run 9:00pm, Walk ~9:05pm
COURSE: This event will take place under the lights on the ski trails at Lapham Peak State Park. Start and Finish will be at the Lapham Lodge trailhead. Park sticker or daily entrance fee required to enter the park. Note: There will be NO aid stations or water on the course.
