Join us for the vibrant Pumpkinpalooza Trail Run on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the scenic Millican Reserve in College Station, Brazos! This exciting event features a range of race distances including a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k, perfect for runners of all levels. Lace up your shoes and tackle the beautiful single track trails that promise a fun and challenging experience.
Kick off your weekend with packet pickup on Friday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM and again on Saturday morning from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM. The Half Marathon starts at 7:30 AM, followed by the 10k at 8:00 AM, and the 5k at 8:15 AM. Don’t forget the little ones! There’s a special Kids Run at 9:00 AM for your future trail runners. Each participant will receive a custom finisher medal, a shirt or hat, and enjoy delicious post-race food and drinks. Plus, awards will be given to the top finishers in each age group. Mark your calendars for this unforgettable day of running, fun, and community spirit!

LET YOUR KIDS RUN ON OUR SHORT KIDS COURSE!
What you need to know: This will be a $5 entry to ensure everyone has signed a waiver. This means you can run your Half Marathon and then run an extra 0.5 (ish)K (or just watch them run) to help your biggest fan earn a wooden finisher medal of their own.
They will receive a finisher award and a number to run with. This will not be officially timed with chips.
Packet Pickup will be held at Millican Reserve.

Course:
All distances will take place on single track trails at Millican Reserve. These well maintained trails offer a variety of challenging and fun terrain that will entertain all levels of trail runners. We encourage everyone to join Lone Star Trail Runners so that you can get comfortable with the trails.

Aid Stations:
Aid stations will be stocked with all the normal stuff. We will have trash cans just past the aid stations and down the trail so that you can keep moving at the stations. We will have water jugs at each aid station to refill your bottles to minimize waste.
Awards:
Overall and Age-group awards will be given to top 3 finishers of each race. Awards will be handed out as soon as we can confidently award them.

Under 18
18-30
Every 10 years after that, as high as we need to go.
Whats included:
Everyone will receive a shirt/hat (cutoff for race day pickup is 10/7) and custom finisher medals. Post race food and drinks.
