Organiser's Description
The 5K is a chance to get out and crawl-walk-jog-run with your neighbors, family and friends. This event helps raise money towards getting free breast exams, wig assistance and other breast cancer related opportunities for Hoke County residents who don't have the resources to do so. Our goal is to raise awareness of breast cancer, generate interest in donations, educate the public on breast cancer and ways to identify it and work through it. Cape Fear Valley Heath is a key member of our team. They are a partner organization and once again have graciously donated the start/stop and parking locations for the participants. We are excited to have Hoke County Sheriff's Office and Hoke County EMS assisting with the event!
