The first 300 registrants will receive a custom hat, and everyone will earn a medal upon crossing the finish line!
But that's not all! Kids aged 12 and under can join the fun with an egg hunt sponsored by Ezee Fiber, featuring 2,500 hidden Easter eggs filled with treats. Plus, keep an eye out for three giant Easter eggs along the race course! Bring your friends, family, and even your furry companions for a day filled with music, snacks, and laughter. Don't miss the chance to win a special prize for the best Easter-themed costume! The 5th annual Rabbit Run will take place on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at the Los Poblanos Open Space, Albuquerque, NM.
Join the most vibrant event in town this EASTER weekend!
EVENTS:
* 5K RUN/WALK: open to anyone, all registrants receive a custom hat (first 300 registered guaranteed), and once finished, a medal. It's professionally chip-timed.
* 1MILE: new addition to the Rabbit Run, open to anyone, all registrants receive a custom hat, and once finished, a medal. It's professionally chip-timed.
* EGG HUNT SPONSORED BY EZEE FIBER: For kids 12yo and under only. We will hide 2000 (UPDATE: 2500) easter eggs stuffed with candy throughout the Los Poblanos Open Space. In intervals based on their age, we will let the kids go and hunt the eggs.
We will hide 3 big easter eggs along the 5k /1mile course, so pay attention along the way. More tips will be available closer to the event.
Bring along your partner, friend, child, neighbor, workmate, boss, or anyone deserving of some Easter fun! Referrals are now available.
Special prize for the best Easter-themed costume!
Strollers and dogs are welcome!
