With 2,000 hidden Easter eggs filled with candy and three large eggs along the race course, there’s plenty of fun to be had. The 5th annual Rabbit Run will take place on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at the Los Poblanos Open Space, Albuquerque, NM.
Join the most vibrant event in town this EASTER weekend!
EVENTS:
* 5K RUN/WALK: open to anyone, all registrants receive a custom hat, and once finished, a medal. It's professionally chip-timed.
* 1MILE: new addition to the Rabbit Run, open to anyone, all registrants receive a custom hat, and once finished, a medal. It's professionally chip-timed.
* EGG HUNT SPONSORED BY EZEE FIBER: For kids 12yo and under only. We will hide 2000 easter eggs stuffed with candy throughout the Los Poblanos Open Space. In intervals based on their age, we will let the kids go and hunt the eggs.
We will hide 3 big easter eggs along the 5k /1mile course, so pay attention along the way. More tips will be available closer to the event.
Bring along your partner, friend, child, neighbor, workmate, boss, or anyone deserving of some Easter fun! Referrals are now available.
Special prize for the best Easter-themed costume!
Strollers and dogs are welcome!

5k Race Awards (Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female in the following age categories: 0-5, 6-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) pick up at the timing tent
