Food Pantry and Operation Warm, which provides new coats for children in need. Registration and check-in will be available from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM, with the race kicking off at 8 AM. Organiser's Description

Raceway 5K & 10k race and 3K walk
Competitors, walkers, dog lovers all will be at the historic Meadowdale International Raceway. Now a 90-acre forest preserve in Carpentersville, Raceway Woods showcases old-growth forests , rolling terrain and preserves the paths of the original racetrack. Bring your dog for some fun and exercise and do either the 3K or 5K course. Or run two laps for 10K.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the charities of the Rotary Club of Carpentersville including the Carpentersville F.I.S.H. Food Pantry, and Operation Warm new coats purchased for Carpentersville kids in need. Thanks for supporting these efforts. We look forward to seeing you out there.

There will be a pre-packet pickup and in person registration at Main Street Bicycles (39 E. Main Street Carpentersville, IL 60110) on August 11th from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Pre-Reg by Friday, July 14th to ensure you get an event t-shirt in the size you requested. Availability and size options will be limited after that point. Shirts tend to run small.

Race day registration onsite will be available from 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.

Race Day Reminders: The race is at Raceway Woods Forest Preserve on the north west corner of Rte. 31 & Main St./Huntley Rd. in Carpentersville starting at 8 am. Registration/Sign In will run from 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM that morning. Event parking will only be allowed in the designated parking area which will be located just north of Spring Point Dr. off of Rte. 31 on the west side of the road. Parking signs will be posted and volunteers will be on site to direct you in. Carpooling is recommended.
