Cheers to a frothy New Beer and a sparkling New Year! Lace-up for a year filled with strides and good vibes at the Rahr & Sons Running Club's social run/walk. All speeds welcome from sprinters to strollers. Got goals for 2025? Kick off your journey with us! Make it a date every first Saturday, push your limits, or rally your buddies for some pavement-pounding fun. The monthly Rahr Running Club social run/walk is your training for the annual Rahr & Sons Oktoberfest 5K. Think of it as a social stroll or sprint that primes you for the main event, where running meets revelry! Get ready to jog your way to the starting line of the festive 5K later this year. Ready, set, let's roll!
SOCIAL RUN REGISTRATION & TICKET PRICING: Purchase tickets for $30 online. Social Run Includes:3ish mile, self-guided run/walk (untimed) with bottled water at the start/finish, three (3) free draft brew samples (must be 21+), a Rahr & Sons pint glass to take home and hot breakfast!!
SOCIAL RUN SCHEDULE: CHECK IN OPENS AT 8:00AM AND THE GROUP START IS AT 8:30AM. IF YOU MISS THE GROUP START AT 8:30AM, YOU CAN STILL CHECK IN AND RUN/WALK, CHECK IN CLOSES AT 9:00AM.
* 8 - 9 AM: Check in for the social run/walk
* 8:30 AM: Group Start (run with the group and awesome beer pacers!)
9:30 AM: Breakfast available via the Holy Frijole food truck and post social run fun in the brewery
* 10:30 AM: Each month well have games and/or a raffle with a chance to score some fun stuff, must be present to play and/or win.

Just a simple reminder, this is a social run, not a race. Roads are not closed, the event is not chipped timed, it is all for fun and of course to get you in shape for the annual Rahr & Son's Oktoberfest 5K! Yes, you have to be in shape to run and drink beer and our social run series is your way to train!
