Join us for the Rally for Research on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, hosted by the Harvard Tech and Global Health Initiative! This exciting 5k event will take place at Christian A Herter Park, bringing together participants to run or walk in support of vital cancer research. The race kicks off at 4 PM, but don’t forget to arrive early for check-in at 2 PM, where you can grab your bib and soak in the pre-race atmosphere.
All proceeds from the Rally for Research will benefit renowned organizations such as the American Association for Cancer Research, Mass General Cancer Center, and Christophers Haven Boston, which are dedicated to advancing cancer research and enhancing patient care. After the race, stick around for the awards ceremony at 4:45 PM to celebrate the achievements of all participants. On SATURDAY, APRIL 4TH AT 4 PM, the Harvard Tech and Global Health Initiative is hosting a 5k for participants to run/walk in support of cancer research! The funds raised from participants entries and donations go directly towards the American Association for Cancer Research, Mass General Cancer Center, and Christophers Haven Boston.
SCHEDULE:
2 PM - Participants should begin checking in for their bibs. Check in is located at Christian A Herter Park by the start/finish area (see course map below).
3:45 PM - Final Call for Check in, Pre-Race Acknowledgements and Address Speech
4 PM - Race Start!
4:45 PM- Awards Ceremony!
