Join fellow runners and outdoor enthusiasts as you immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area, with opportunities to spot local wildlife like deer, antelope, and elk along your route. With registration starting early in the morning, race start times for the half marathon, 5K, and fun run are set for 8:15 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 10:45 a.m., respectively. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy post-race festivities, including craft beer,
Organiser's Description
The half marathon & 5k races feature beautiful, Central Montana scenery! The 5K run/walk is a gradual descent into town featuring Square Butte and Round Butte mountains; whereas, the half marathon course will traverse the foothills between the Highwood Mountains and Round Butte as you make your way across the hills descending into town. The race is on a gravel, country road so strollers with big tires are recommended. Keep your eyes out - as you travel across the country look for wildlife including deer, antelope, elk, coyotes, cows and maybe snakes! Our 1 mile fun run loops around town and has a glimpse of the butte and nearly a full tour of town.
_We will have post-race craft beer & ice cream along with food vendors during and following the race. Enjoy the day with all of those attending the Geraldine Fun Day!_
REGISTRATION SIGN IN AND PACKET PICK UP: half marathon: 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. 5K: 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
BUS DEPARTURE: (Fresh Start Co-Op Grocery Store)

RACE TIME:

RACE SHIRTS: Sign up BY JUNE 6TH to guarantee a shirt on race day or arrange to pick it up from Kalyn at a later date (NO MAIL DELIVERY FOR LATE SIGN UP).
AWARDS: 1st -3rd place finishers in Youth (12 under), Junior (13-18) and Adult (19+) divisions for the 5K and Half Marathon.
Awards for 1st place age group winners (additional divisions)
