Join Us for a Night of Radiant Fun at the Glow Fun Run 5K in Downtown Abilene!Date: October 13, 2024
Time: Run begins at 7:00 pm. Glow Party will start at 6:00 and end at 8:30 pm.

Event OverviewGet ready to light up the night and hit the streets of downtown Abilene for the brightest event of the year! The Ready Set Glow 5K is not just a race—it's an experience that combines fitness, fun, and a whole lot of glow. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a good time with friends and family, this event is perfect for everyone.
What to Expect
Glow Gear: Everyone who registers by Sept. 28 will receive a race packet full of glow-in-the-dark accessories, including our race t-shirt. Also, everyone who donates a package of new socks or underwear for AISD Homeless Ministry during packet pick up will receive a light up baton. Let's make downtown shine!!Scenic Course: The timed 5K route will take you through the vibrant heart of downtown Abilene lined with glowing volunteers. This course is an open course and out and back to start and end at The Well church. Glow Party: Celebrate your accomplishment with a post-race party in The Well's green space featuring food trucks, children's activities, and non-profit vendors to help us learn ways to love Abilene together!
Event Details
Registration: Registration including glow pack, bib and t-shirt is $25 (13+) and $15 (12& under). Children (12 & under) not wanting a packet, bib or shirt are free! Fun Run is $15 (all ages)Sign up by Sept. 28 to guarantee your glow gear.

Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race (10/13/24) before or after each service in the lobby of The Well.
Race Day Schedule:
Glow Party, including children's activities and non profit booths starts at 6 pm.
Walk up registration/Late packet pick up: 6:00-6:30 pm
5K Run @ 7:00 p.m.
Fun Run @ 7:15 p.m.
Parking: Parking is available at The Well church, and the empty lot across the street. We recommend arriving early to secure your spot. *Please do not park near barricades or on N2nd street by the Well or Front Porch. Safety Measures: We will have ample lighting along the course, and glowing volunteers stationed throughout to direct traffic and ensure your safety. Please note, this is an open course, meaning roads will not be closed to traffic. We will have one traffic officer set up to help with the crossing at 5th and Pine. Please wear appropriate footwear and be mindful of your surroundings.Why Participate?The Ready Set Glow 5K is more than just a run—it's a way to celebrate our light in Abilene and learn more ways to love our community!
