Join us for the 26th annual Reagan Run on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in the beautiful city of Dixon, Lee! This exciting 5K race kicks off at 8:00 a.m. and winds through charming downtown streets, serene wooded areas, and alongside the picturesque river, making it a perfect way to celebrate Independence Day. Organiser's Description
This is the 26th year anniversary of the Reagan Run. The race will be on July 4, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. This is a unique 5K race that winds throughout the downtown, into wooded areas, and along the river. It benefits various not-for-profit organizations.
Packet Pick-up:
* Friday, July 3rd - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Dixon YMCA, 110 N. Galena Avenue
* In-person registration available during packet pick-up
* Credit card/Debit available on 7/3 and 7/4
Race Day Schedule:
* 6:30 - 7:30 AM: Race-day registration and check-in.
* 7:30 AM: Kids Fun Run start
* 8:00 AM: 5K start
Please - no strollers and no pets in the 5K. Thank you
Awards:
Awards presented after race. Overall winners do not receive age group awards.
* Unique award to first overall male and female
* First three places, each division, male and female: 10/under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
* Masters overall for Male and Female
Walkers:
Walkers are welcome and encouraged. For safety reasons, walkers will line up behind the runners.
Official times will be available for persons finishing in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

A Free, Fun and Safe event for kids 9 and under. All finishers will receive a medal, refreshments and a special good bag. Free t-shirts are available to the first 100 entrants; sizes are first come, first serve. Must participate to receive shirt. Pre-registration encouraged. Packet pickup is on race day only at the Reagan Home. Registration ends at 7:15 a.m. on race day. Start is at corner of Hennepin Avenue and 8th Street. Race ends at Haymarket Square. Run is 6/10ths of a mile.
