This year, Swim the Avenues honors the legacy of former Redondo Beach Mayor Bill Brand, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the South Bay Park Land Conservancy. Additionally, the event proudly supports the Play in the Waves program in partnership with One with the Ocean, offering inner-city youth a unique opportunity to experience the joy of the beach. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this thrilling event that is also included in the Southern Pacific Masters Swimming Open Water Series, where USMS/SPMS members can earn points for their races. Organiser's Description
Additionally, Swim the Avenues is proud to continue its partnership with One with the Ocean and their Play in the Waves program. This initiative is instrumental in providing inner-city youth with the opportunity to experience and enjoy the beach.
Swim the Avenues is delighted to become a part of the Southern Pacific Masters Swimming Open Water Series. If you are registered to USMS/SPMS, you are eligible to earn points for your race. Be sure to check USMS on your entry. At the end of the season, a high point winner will be awarded. See the SPMS website for details!
