The Fall Cycling Classic. The European Spring Classics aren't famous for scenery; theyre famous for suffering. This fall, were bringing that same raw intensity to the Midwest.

The focus will not be on the beautiful backdrops of the golden farm fields and changing leaves. The pristine, tree-lined farm roads a distant memory. This ride is about the UNROADthose forgotten sectors of broken pavement, grinding gravel, and raw dirt. The sectors will be announced, rated, and the fastest over some of the sectors will earn preme prizes from local businesses.

Richmond IL is positioned at the crossroads of Chicago and Madison, Milwaukee and Rockford. It shares the famous endless fields of grain of Illinois and the slightly rolling cow pastures of southern Wisconsin.

The 50km (31mi) "Taster" If you want to see what it's all about, this is your ride.

With your registration we will make a donation to the repair of the old wooden George Street Bridge. It is the final remaining wooden car/pedestrian bridge over what once was the Fox Valley Railroad dating back to 1854. Now the rails have turned to trails for us cyclist to enjoy. Yet the George Street Wooden bridge has become a forgotten part of turn of the century Americana. One of these years we will finish riding over it. Also your registration will donate to the Richmond-Spring Grove Food Pantry. You will have an opportunity in the registration add ons to further support these causes.
