Get ready for the most delicious and ridiculous 5K youll ever run! Join us on June 20th, 2026 during the Ringgold Chicken & Waffles Festival for a race thats equal parts running, laughter, and breakfast-themed fun.
Runners are encouraged to dress the part and join our Chicken & Waffles Costume Challenge. Come dressed as your best chicken, waffle, syrup bottle, chef, or anything breakfast-inspired. The more creative (and slightly ridiculous), the better.
Costume awards include:
Best Chicken
Best Waffle
Funniest Costume
Best Group Costume
Every participant will receive a race t-shirt and earn a finisher medal at the finish line.
Awards will be given to overall male & female and the following age groups:
09, 1014, 1519, 2029, 3039, 4049, 5059, 60+
After the race, stick around and enjoy the festival with amazing food vendors and a makers market full of local goodies.
