Join us for the 11th Annual Rise N Shine 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the picturesque Grand Vue Park in Moundsville, Marshall! This exciting event kicks off at 9:00 AM, with race day registration opening at 7:30 AM. Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 5K walk, making it a perfect opportunity for everyone, from seasoned runners to casual walkers, to enjoy a fun-filled day outdoors.
Expect a lively atmosphere with delicious post-race food and an array of door prizes to be won! This year, we anticipate the largest turnout ever, so be sure to preregister to secure your spot. The race starts and finishes at the iconic Big Red Barn, and the course will follow the same route as in 2025. Don’t forget, if you want to guarantee your T-shirt and preferred size, register by August 30th! All proceeds from this event will benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Marshall County, making each step you take contribute to a greater cause. We are so pleased to announce the 11th Annual Rise N Shine 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept. 12th at 9:00 AM in Grand Vue Park!! You won't wanna miss this race!!! As always we will have delicious post race food and tons of door prizes !! We are anticipating this will be the largest race ever for Rise N Shine 5K so you will definitely want to preregister for this event if you can.
WHERE: START AND FINISH WILL BE AT THE BIG RED BARN at Grand Vue Park.
WHEN: Race day registration opens at 7:30 am. Both the 5K Run & 5K Walk start at 9:00 am.
COURSE: Same course as in 2025. Course map will be posted at a later date.
T-SHIRT DEADLINE: The last day to guarantee a T-Shirt / preferred size is end of day, SATURDAY, AUGUST 30TH. Extra shirts will be ordered, but neither shirt nor size will be guaranteed if you register beyond 8/30.
