INTRODUCTION

Roll & Stroll for Independence is an inclusive, peer-to-peer FUNDRAISING 5K WALK/ROLL/RUN held during the first ever Disability Pride Festival on SATURDAY, AUGUST 2, 2025 put on by Midstate Independent Living Choices' (MILC [https://milc-inc.org/]) at Lake Pacawa Park in Plover, WI

WHAT ARE WE CELEBRATING?

Funds raised support MILC's mission to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities. We are celebrating _25 YEARS OF MIDSTATE INDEPENDENT LIVING CHOICES_ and 35 years since the signing of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) - landmark law advancing civil rights and accessibility for people with disabilities.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

The one-of-a-kind event invites participants of ALL ABILITIES to run, walk, roll & stroll around scenic Lake Pacawa in support of disability rights, culture, and community inclusion. We're proud to partner with myTEAM TRIUMPH who be on-site with specialized adaptive equipment to ensure everyone can participate in the walk! The walk kicks off the Disability Pride Festival.

* Individual: Sign up yourself and earn incentives as you raise funds
* Team: Sign up with your friends, coworkers, or family members to compete for the Top Fundraising Team Award

* START FUNDRAISING

* Share your fundraiser on Social Media. Reach out to friends, family members, coworkers, community, etc. to support your mission!

* Fundraiser Incentives: (Funds raised by 7/13 will be used to order incentives in time for the event. We will do a final calculation on 8/1, and any additional incentives earned after 7/13 will be delivered after the event.)
