Join us for the 24th Annual Rube's Run 5k Run and Walk on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in the picturesque town of Prospect, Butler! This exciting event celebrates community spirit and fitness, featuring a scenic 5k course that takes you past the boyhood home of baseball legend Rube Waddell. Registration is just $20 if completed by July 19 and $25 thereafter, including on race day. Don't miss out on your chance to snag a commemorative shirt, as they must be ordered by July 19!
The fun doesn't stop at the 5k; kids can participate in a free Kids Race immediately following the adult event, with a special T-shirt available for just $5. The 24th Annual Rube's Run 5k Run and Walk will be Saturday, July 26, 2025.
$20 if received by 6 p.m. July 19. $25 after July 19 and day of race. Shirts and tanks must be ordered by July 19 and will not be available for race-day registrants.
Online registration is open until 6 p.m. July 25. Race-day registration is $25 and shirts will not be available.
There will be trophies for 1st place male and female finishers in all age groups. Participants can enjoy hotdogs (cooked and served by a professional caterer) and drinks while the results are being tabulated.
The Kids Race will take place immediately following the 5k. The Kids Race is free, but T-shirts (one size, one style) are $5 and must be ordered by the July 19 deadline.
SHIRTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR RACE-DAY REGISTRANTS!
If you want to participate but do not want to attend the event, you can enter our "Virtual Race." Register here or by mail, run 3.1 miles at a location of your choosing, and report your time to [email protected] by noon on race-day. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards, but will be listed in the race results among "Virtual Finishers." If registered by the July 19 deadline, Virtual Race participants can pick up a complimentary T-shirt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26, at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, or have their shirt mailed to them for an extra $8.

Important notes: This year's location is again at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect. The course will be the same as last year. It will start and end at the church. Our shirt count must be final by July 20, after which we will not be able to order any more shirts. -
