Event summary
Join us on Saturday, May 30, 2026, for the inspiring Ruck to Remember event at Camp Beauregard in Pineville, Rapides. This heartfelt gathering is dedicated to honoring our fallen heroes and is open to a diverse group, including Louisiana National Guard service members, military employees, veterans, and Gold Star families, as well as the general public. Participants can choose between a challenging 5K ruck or a leisurely 1-mile walk, both starting and finishing at the Louisiana Maneuvers and Military Museum.
The 5K ruck encourages participants to add weight with canned goods, which will be donated to Louisiana Army Survivor Outreach Services to support Gold Star families in need. For those looking for a family-friendly option, the 1-mile walk welcomes all ages, including strollers. Remember your loved ones by writing their names on provided memorial dog tags to attach to your ruck. This meaningful event is free, but preregistration is required for all attendees, so mark your calendars and prepare to move with purpose!
