Organiser's Description
Welcome to The Rugged Duck: An event that will test your grit while exploring the rugged outdoor beauty of the trail systems and waterways around Knoxville. The Rugged Duck is a month-long virtual adventure race with predetermined paddling, running, and mountain biking course routes all in Knoxville, TN. Participants have the month of April to paddle, run, and mountain bike three different courses for each discipline- adding up to the nine courses total.
All participants must track their progress for each course using the RaceJoy app. Participants may attempt each course as many times as desired, with the ultimate goal of being the most rugged, fastest duck on water and land.
The Rugged Duck is Knoxville's premier adventure challenge and is produced in collaboration by Knoxville Adventure Collective and Dirty Bird Events.
