Join the community for a heartwarming Thanksgiving tradition at the Run 2 End Hunger event on Thursday, November 23, 2023, in Utica, Oneida. This beloved annual event invites participants to run or walk a distance of either 5K or 2 miles, all while supporting a great cause. For 39 consecutive years, the Utica Roadrunners have hosted this event, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting local nonprofit food pantries.
Starting at 9:00 AM, participants will traverse the scenic courses along the paved pathways of Valley View and The Eagle. Registration is a family-friendly affair, costing just $10 per individual or $25 for families of three or more, plus a minimum of three nonperishable items per person to donate. Registration opens at 8:00 AM at the Utica Recreation Center, located at 220 Memorial Parkway. Bring your friends, family, and even your dogs, and help make a difference this Thanksgiving by joining in the fun, fitness, and community spirit of the Run 2 End Hunger!

Continue the tradition IN-PERSON! Run -_or-_ Walk a 5k or 2 miles! Each Thanksgiving Day the Utica Roadrunners host their annual Run 2 End Hunger with 100% of all the proceeds benefiting local nonprofit food pantries. This event has been running for 39 consecutive years on Thanksgiving morning! The run follows the Utica Roadrunners' Wednesday night 5K and 2 mile Development Run courses through Valley View and The Eagle paved pathways.
The 40TH ANNUAL RUN 2 END HUNGER will be held on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2024. Registration is just $10 or $25 per family (3 or more participants) plus a minimum of 3 nonperishable items per person. Registration for this family-friendly (dogs included) run/walk will take place within RunSignup -_or-_ IN-PERSON on Thanksgiving Day at the Utica Recreation Center, located at 220 Memorial Parkway, starting at 8am until 8:45am. If registering a family, please select the family option one time to register the entire family.
THE 5K RUN AND 2 MILE WALK WILL START PROMPTLY AT 9:00AM. For those bringing children under the age of 18, a waiver form will need to be filled out during in-person registration.
All food donations (minimum of 3 nonperishable items per person) can be dropped off prior upon entering the Utica Recreation Center that morning. We'd like to give a special thanks for the support of the Greater Utica Sunrise Rotary Club [https://www.facebook.com/GreaterUticaSunrise/], for their time collecting food on Thanksgiving morning.
