JOIN US FOR THE 2ND ANNUAL RUN FOR A PAWPOSE 5K, KIDS FUN RUN (AGES 10 & UNDER), AND DOGGIE RUN, WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE EVENING OF SATURDAY, APRIL 18TH. THE RUN FOR A PAWPOSE 5K BENEFITS THE PUPS WITH PURPOSE PROGRAM THROUGH THE FORSYTH COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE.

This special event helps support a program that gives shelter dogs a second chance, while providing inmates with valuable life, social, and vocational skills.

This event is open to walkers and runners of all ages, as well as dogs. ALL DOGS IN ATTENDANCE MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE AND PROOF OF THE DOG'S RABIES VACCINATION MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE. Registered dogs will receive a custom race doggie bandana. Human 5K and Fun Run race participants will receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. No dogs will be permitted to participate in the Kids Fun Run.

Race Start Times:
Kids Fun Run (no dogs): 7:45 PM <-<-THIS IS AN EVENING RACE
5K (for humans and dogs): 8:00 PM <-<-THIS IS AN EVENING RACE

REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE (IF NOT SOLD OUT) THROUGH RACE DAY.

Participants will receive t-shirt (guaranteed if registered by April 10, 2026) and finisher medal.



Packet Pickup
At Big Peach Running Co. - Cumming (5485 Bethelview Road, Suite 430, Cumming, GA 30040)

Friday, April 17th from 12 PM to 5 PM
Race Day (Saturday) under the Big Peach tent BEGINNING AT 6:30PM

Packets for Virtual Participants not picked up in-store will be mailed after April 24th.

Please note that we will not be exchanging t-shirt sizes at packet pickup. If we have extras after the race, you may go to the packet pickup tent following the race to see if your size is available for exchange.

Packets for in-person participants not picked up during packet pickup will be donated.
