Get ready for a flavorful day of fitness at the 2nd Annual Run for Tacos on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, in beautiful Bayard, Grant! This exciting event invites runners and walkers alike to enjoy a scenic 5k along the picturesque Santa Clara path, all while indulging in the delicious theme of tacos. Starting at 9 AM in front of Cobre High School, participants can expect a fun-filled atmosphere perfect for families and friends.
Before the race, join us for packet pick-up starting at 8 AM in the Cobre High parking lot, with race day registration also available (though chip timing cannot be guaranteed for late registrants). With awards for the top three finishers in various age groups, as well as prizes for the top male and female competitors, there’s plenty of incentive to lace up those running shoes. Don’t miss out on this taco-themed celebration – it promises to be the Taco of the Town!

The second annual Taco Run/Walk! Register today for the Run/Walk for Tacos 5k. This event is gearing up to be a family fun event that you won't want to miss. Join us for an enjoyable run/walk down the Santa Clara path and be rewarded with a delicious plate of tacos! Whether you're out for your daily run or just want to get some fresh air, join the Cobre Cross Country team as they host the second annual Run/Walk for Tacos. You won't want to miss out. It will be the Taco of the Town!
Race will start at 9 am October 5th in front of Cobre High School!
Packet Pick up will be held October 5th before the race begins starting at 8 am in the Cobre High parking lot.
There will also be race day registration but cannot guaranteed a chip time.
