Join us on Sunday, October 4, 2026, for the 14th Annual Run for the Angels Memorial Run and Family Day at Riverstone Park in Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai. This heartfelt event is a beautiful way to honor the memory of babies and children who have passed away unexpectedly. Whether you choose to run, jog, or stroll, participants can enjoy a scenic 2.5-mile course along the Centennial Trail, surrounded by stunning views of the Spokane River.
The day is packed with activities for all ages, including sponsor booths, a memory-making station, and a silent auction featuring unique items, with all proceeds benefiting the Northwest Infant Survival & SIDS Alliance (NISSA). A special remembrance ceremony at 1:00 PM will honor the names of beloved children, fostering a sense of community and support for grieving families. Registration and packet pick-up will take place from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and the fun run/walk kicks off at 1:30 PM. Enjoy the beauty of fall in the Northwest as we come together in love and remembrance!

FUN RUN AND FAMILY DAY | SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2026 | RIVERSTONE PARK
Whether you run, jog, or stroll, this meaningful community event welcomes everyone. Run for the Angels is a special day to honor and remember babies and children who died suddenly and unexpectedly. Together, we raise awareness of pregnancy, infant, and child deathand show grieving families they are not alone.
Proceeds support the emotional support programs of the Northwest Infant Survival & SIDS Alliance (NISSA).

MEMORY MAKING STATION | 11:00 AM 1:00 PM
Create a luminary, paint a memory rock, or design a button in honor of your child (bring a photo if you'd like).
SILENT AUCTION
Held in person this year! Bid on unique items and experiences. All proceeds benefit NISSAs programs. Want to donate? Contact Liz at 208-557-4371.
REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY | 1:00 1:30 PM
Held at the amphitheater near the pond, well read aloud the names of the children were honoring. If youd like your childs name read or want a memorial sign placed along the route, please fill out our Name Submission Form.
The ceremony will also be streamed live on Facebook for those who cant attend in person.
FUN RUN / WALK | STARTS AT 1:30 PM
A scenic ~2.5-mile course along the Centennial Trail, with views of the Spokane River. Participants are welcome to walk or run at their own pace. The course closes at 3:00 PM.
Strollers and bicycles welcome.
Over 130 memorial signs will line the route, each honoring a beloved child.

Check in at Riverstone Park to collect your shirt and race bag before the run begins.
WARNING CANCELLATION POLICY
Run for the Angels will take place rain or shine. If hazardous conditions require cancellation, registration fees will be considered a donation to NISSA. Well make arrangements for shirt and bag pick-up. No refunds will be issued.
