FOUNDED IN 1978, THE MISSION OF RMHC GREATER HOUSTON IS TO OFFER A _HOME AWAY FROM HOME_ PROVIDING CARE, COMPASSION, AND HOPE TO FAMILIES WITH SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN BEING TREATED IN TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER MEMBER INSTITUTIONS. THE HOUSE PROVIDES A PLACE TO FIND REST AND RESPITE, ACTIVITIES, MEALS, AND SNACKS FOR OUR FAMILIES, AT NO COST.
IN ADDITION TO OUR HOUSES, RMHC GREATER HOUSTON ALSO HAS A CAREMOBILE THAT GOES TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO PROVIDE IMMUNIZATIONS AND WELL CHECKS FOR SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN.
